I have to replace my accelator pedal with more side to side movement than to and fro. I clean and deoxidized the floor attachment and there seem to be no leaking for the past year. The metal hinge rusted and broke, thus need for replacement. I reviewed the threads here and see the 1976- 911 pedal is a replacement with a plastic hinge(Bird part # 911-423-111-02-M100). I also know the need to remove some of the pedal stop on the replacement. The question is, how has this plastic replacement held up over the years? I'm not quite ready to go to a racing heel and toe setup of Rennline

I have heard of the replacement with a 911 pedal, but I have not heard of any

complaints about longevity. And I am sure we would have. There are members here

that have done it.
