I am looking for a CAD file of the profile of a 914 to save me some time. I am looking into one of those garage lifts and I need to figure out clearances related to the 914 and obstructions (ducts, garage door opener, etc.) in my garage.

An eps file would be fine as well. (.dwg or .dxf formats are great!) .3ds file for a 3d file is great too.

Thanks! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

seems like a lot of work to have to model the lift and garage (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

this'll get you some dimensions for quick referance:

do a search here, someone has some 3D models of a 914 that I think they are willing to share...

Naw.. I'm just drafting up a section thru the garage to see if everything will clear and fit....

Thanks for the link. The jpg file will be fine as it has dimensions on it!

I have this one as an .iges file. What software are you using? iges is pretty much the jpeg of 3d, pretty much any program can open it.
