Does anyone know if there were/are two different manufacturing locations for the dual weber carbs? I think that some are made in Italy, is that correct? But I could have sworn I read somewhere that there are some made in another country and that you should get the Italian ones. Is that correct, or all all the webers high quality regardless of point of origin?

Original, old school Webers were made in Bologna Italy..

In the late 80s the Mfg went to Spain where it remains today.

Just in the past couple of months Webers have ben made right here in the USA at a factory in North Carolina. I am evaluating these new US made carbs now to see how they stand up to their predocessors made in Europe..
