Swapping the heads/partial rebuild came to a SCREECHING HALT last night - the 96mm pistons were toast. I have today & possibly tomorrow to get the car done (or it's laid up til mid Sep).

Anyway, Canillo Motors Sports in Deer Park, LI has a set of 96mm pistons as part of a project car they have had for a few years and are trying to sell (link below).

Anyone know the owner and could pursuade the guy to part w/the pistons? He told me he wants to speak w/his mechanic & to call back this afternoon...

HELP if you can! Puhlease!

If you are that desperate, why not just buy the entire project car? According to the Canillo site, he is only asking $2,500 for everything (not the $4,200 listed on gtperformance). Make the deal, take the P&Cs with you and grab everything else later. There is easily more than $2,500 in parts there.

Ahh, if garage space were unlimited... Anyway, taking care of some rusto "while we're in there" and will order pistons and take care of things in a few weeks.

I'm posting under my Dad's login b/c I'm too lazy to login as myself...
