I need to put in a rearview mirror on the car, how far down from the top should I go?

i measured the 75'. 4 3/8" down from the bottom of the ws trim to the top of the mirror mount. pretty much centered on the center trim cover piece.

Depends on how tall you are. Do a test; make sure it's gonna be just low enough to see the road behind you.
