Pic's of the parts cars that I paid $25 for. Six years ago the guy wanted $1500 for the pair (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Here is a small list of parts that come with the
cars.

2 extra set of fog lights
3 Trans (2 side 1 tail)
1.7 motor from the Blue 71 (has a 2.0L in it now)
monza muffler (nice shape)
misc interior parts

and 6 boxes full of stuff that he hasn't opened since
1986.

Here is the pic of the 74, the 2.0L motor is in his garage.

Here is the 71. Check the flare on the rear fender.
This car has a 2.0 with a side shift trans.

Rusty mildew, with bright trim!

Hey man, nice job on beating him for those Mahles.

You have to have a ton of patience to get them to look like that.

The vin is 4742915266. Are you thinking it my be a
LE car??? It does have all the goodies, fogs, sway bars, wheels, 2.0L, rear window defroster.

Not sure if it is a repaint or not. I will get it home
Thursday and will have a better look then.

Great, I think. It is a rusted POS. The floors are
more than gone, they do not exist! I will check
out bowlsby website on LE cars maybe this car
can be saved (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/barf.gif)

You should have Photoshopped the colours to green, and got Jeff really going. The point that got my eye was that the rims had a silver edge just as the real LE's do, not full face in colour. Talk to Lawrence about a rusty LE! When you get the chance, post me and Jeff the chassis number and engine #. Jeff and I share everything we get on these cars. Run, don't walk to get the cars and parts home. Floors are available, as is most everything. The cost is in installing everything. One fellow here in Ontario is doing tube frame race cars using the remains of a tub. Not sure how many he has completed already. He has built one car, from scratch, of all new design using mostly Porsche drive train and suspension.

Welcome to the LE owners circle.

I will keep you guys posted. The thought of this
being an LE is way cool. To be honest the only reason why I was interested in this car was for
the rims.

If it turns out to be a LE are you guys interested
in moving to Portage Indiana to help rebuild it?

Wow that's amazing. It's a Creamsicle huh? Good catch Bowlsby and DaveP!!

Garold you thought you got a great deal on a couple of regular old 'teeners, now the gauntlet has been passed! You have to restore it now! Or you could just trash it, I mean heck it's not like it's a rare and desireable car that they only made a couple hundred of, right...er...ah... wait I guess it IS!!! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

How about some pics of the rough spots when you get a chance?

It's a cool story no matter what happens!
