Bought out the supply of 4" grinding wheels at the local Home Depot. More will be needed later I'm sure.

My motto "put lots of metal on and grind off the excess"

I'm sure you know this, but be careful of the grinding media which flies off, I destroyed my passanger mirror once from the sparks embedding themselves into the mirror, I also had to throw away my car washing bucket since hot sparks landed into it and I worried that I would not be able to wash them out, if left in there, the chances of screwing up my paint on my cars would be greatly increased.

Have fun !!!!!

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/agree.gif) What Mueller said.

We have a mug that has grindings embedded in it. I had no bloody idea that was possible. think what it will do to vinyl?

They also burn - not much, but just enough to be unpleasant.

And wear eye protection.

Fiid.

Man, I hate grinding... my new philosophy is Make good welds and dont grind at all... (good welds look pretty anyway)

either way, be careful with those body panels, they are easy to blow through...and filling in holes is definately a good way to make alot of grinding work for yourself...

Good luck,

Tony

Ha ha..

Man. Is it that hard to "look" and see where the "spray" is going to land BEFORE you hit the go button ?? Half the time I shield the car with myself. I have the burnt shirts t prove it.
