where is it on a 1.7L 1973. i have a wire from the cold start valve that says ther switch. where is it?

Big round thing with a big hex head. It lives under the intake plenum, mounted to a bracket that is held down by an engine tin screw.

and to be correct it is simply a thermoswitch on D-jet .... a thermotime switch has two wires and interupts the ground to the CSV after a specified period of cranking to avoid flooding the engine
