I noticed when I was pulling the metal trim that holds the windshield seal on, it had some type of black un-drying thick adhesive behind it.
What is this stuff? Can I get more to re-seal the trim when it goes back on? |

Same stuff you use to stick the back window in, butyl tape. I don't know how it works, but it seems to never get hard, or not in 30 years anyway
NAPA has it for sure, pretty cheap too. Wear rubber gloves, it will stik like a mofo to skin as I recall |
