Some things are just plain hard to do. Some things make you wonder WTF. Just degreased all of the bright shiny metal I ground paint off of. Por 15's Marine Clean is an caustic solution. Directions are to apply it and rinse with water. Gawd, that's hard to do. A puddle of water on those nice shiny pans.

The rinse water was pretty dirty so I guess it did something. I couldn't stand all the wet metal so I dried it off with clean cotton rags.

It's going to be ok.

I'd like to have a car that was clear over polished metal, drive yourself insane with that for about a second!

some of my favorite bikes (harley) are clear over ground metal. There was a guy in LA that did a cool Redskins tribute bike that way, and I saw another one at a bike shop in the valley. Very Nice!!
