I just got a pair of 15 x8" wheels to squeze in on the rear of my 914 w/ my mini flares. So in theory mini flares give you the same needed clearance as flares for 15x8 w/225's in the rear.
So my question is which do you prefer? Attached image(s) |

Mini flares look cool, narrow-body with 225 is cool!

I really dont care for the mini flares... i like the pulled / ghia specialties look much more.
Course the gt flares dont do it for me either... look too much like an afterthought (because they were...) BJH |

I was always a big fan of widebody cars, but now I know that I can fit 15x8's on the back of mine, I think that I would rather not hack it up.
I do need a repaint but I believe the only body work involved with that, will be removing the side markers and possibly a front bumper that I can stick an oil cooler in. |

Flare that bastard...you KNOW you want to. Did you get your gas gauge issue resolved?
