Whats a good thread sealant for fuel supply fittings ?? teflon tape or other?Thanks (IMG:style_emoticons/default/WTF.gif)

If your're using pipe thread or compression fittings .... none is really needed

Otherwise

Teflon tape..............

But with your money and ability why aren't you using AN or Industrial fitting & braided hose?

Money Heh I have a 914 nuff said/ Thanks Ron fittings going into regulator and fuel pump Teflon so be it What about the teflon paste stuff??

I like the tape, but paste should be fine. It all turns brown after a while anyway. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I've taken apart motors with bits of Teflon tape in the oil passages and in the carb jets. My money's on the paste. Better yet, use "RectorSeal", a serious prefessional grade sealant. The Cap'n
