My aunt started up her Boxster the other day and it started filling her garage with smelly smoke. She turned it off, tried again, same result. Needs to go in for work.
Anyway, does anyone in the San Diego area know of a decent shop in the Carlsbad/north county coastal areafor this? -Tony |

Black Forest is not close to Carlsbad...They are nice guys but I don't know if they are the right people for a teener? Most of the ones they work on have 6's in them.
You could also try Paradise VW in San Marcos...they know air cooled 4's real well. I am taking mine to them this week to prep it for my refurbed 914. |

Sorry bout that...I missed the Boxster part...thought it was a teener.
Of course you have Hoehn Porsche in Carlsbad... But you would probably be happier with Black Forest in Kearny Mesa. |

Was the oil serviced recently? Overserviced maybe. If is was serviced recently, drain a little oil and restart it. This happened to my 911 years ago.
