I have a '74 and would like to know where the fuel pump fuse is.... I see it's a 25a fuse on the fuse panel, but where?
Anyone have any pics? -- Rob |

It's on the relay box in the left front corner of the engine compartment. Haynes page 161, key 91

Fuel pump fuse is #10.
A short in the AAR wire will also cause this fuse to 'pop'. Attached image(s) ![]() |

Thanks guys... I tried looking it up in the Haynes manual but wasn't certain which section it was under....
I'm going to pull the fuse so that I can check my electrical system, headlights, dash lights, etc. I've already done some testing without pulling the fuse, but I might have already fried the fuel pump because I don't have any gas in the tank... If I've fried the pump, what is a good inexpensive replacement? -- Rob |

Tough to fry the pump, good and inexpensive don't live together much. You could try a auto dismantler for the pump out of a fuel injected VW though
