I found a guy with brand new set of A3S03s. By definition they must be about 3-4 years old. Do old tires like this loose their grip/stickyness after while or can they still be considered new? What should I offer him? New(Hoosier A6) the tires are $197 each from tirerack.

205/50/15

Thanks

Holy crap! where have those been hiding?
Depends on how they were stored. cool dry and in plastic bags out of the sun. I would say they would be OK.
I can honestly say I have not seen any of those actuall in new condition. EVER.
I would not pay more than 1/3 rd the price of when they were new. 40-50 bucks a tire.

yeah..you have to be careful with older tires...it really depends how they were stored, they could have cracks and dry rot just from sitting
