I seem to remember it was from mid60s MB sedans. If I can find my extra one, I'll get you the number.

I need a new master cylinder and instead of buying two master cylinders I want to go with the bigger one ( I know the pedal will be harder but it will allow me to upgrade in a few months)

Tony,

Call Autobahn Motors on Spring Street in Louisville. They are a Mercedes shop specializing in older MB's. If you can, talk to Art, he is a MB mechanic, but he used to race VW's years ago and also knows 914's well. He may be able to help you.

If you can't get Art, talk to Don McCoy, he is the main owner, but they are all partners.

Tell them Rich James told you to call them. Nice guys and they will help you out if they can. They are all good guys and volunteer every onece in a while to work on the old German tanks at the Fort Knox Museum. They have pictures of them driving those things around down there.

By the way. Were supposed to leave in the morning to drive home for the weekend. Do you have my Canary Six running yet or will I have to settle for a ride in your car?

I bought one from'em about 3 or 4 months ago.It was about 200 bucks delivered.

It was pretty much a simple bolt on part.

The best kit I found is Smart Racing. It includes all the parts you need

http://www.smartracingproducts.com/pdfcat/...heelsbrakes.pdf

including the longer rod. I think is is about $150 complete.
