Its a scam, its a trojan...delete the thread... actually, it looks like a legit remote desktop web connection screen ... of course, DO NOT install any ActiveX components off that site (or any other site for that matter) ... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/bye1.gif) Andy |

Wow. I didn't notice it's hyphenated. I didn't look at the URL; the name is 914-parts.com, and the actual URL is
http://www.914-partsshop.com (IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) |

I am just a suspicious person.
I am sorry if it offends. I would suggest that the owner of the site adapts his site to conform to the standard naming conventions with the www prefix, and not try to download an active X program to a computer from that address. A better idea might be to ad an additional name like remote.914parts.com then have th download happen from there... And give out that name only to people who need it.. Even better, maybe an https secure address for the remote administration... I get very spooked when a web site trys to install anything on my computer, especially an activeX program.. Rich |

Or I guess the best solution would be for me to spell his name correctly. My Bad. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Have had nothing but positive things with the un-hyphenated site.
