I always wondered about putting a Nissan motor in a 914.

Seems like a decent asking price....

It's got fog lights but no fog light switch. What's up with that?

I had thought about doing this, but I'd probably use the Mitsubishi equivalent (Twin cam 3000gt motor). Looks clean, but I'm not a big fan of the front clip. I bet it does sound good, but NOT like a Porsche 6 like he says. Overall, it looks like a good lesson in trying something different without completely hack-jobbing a perfectly good car. Why snatch a good F.I. system in favor of a carb though?? My mom's former, and now my dads D.D. is a '89 Maxima SE 5 speed. 210 h.p. (?) GREAT car with 210,000 and still pulls like a pissed off mule. Hellafun too (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

This has been on Craigslist here in the DFW area for a while now. They had it advertised at $7,700. at first.

that was a fun car....easily kept up to Z's 3.0 914/6 with no problem and I thought it sounded pretty damn good...better choice than an V8 in my opinion for a nice driver...
