Anybody have a list of the lengths and sizes of the vacuum hose on a 1.7. I have seen it some where ,probably the bird ,but it,s down now. When I put the F. .I. back on I want to start with new hoses. Also i need a source for the stock hose clamps. Thanks Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_flagge6.gif)

Here's what I did:

Went into the engine compartment and with a tape measure made rough measurements. I then went down to the local bug shop and bought the oem style hose for about $1/foot (as opposed to $3/foot P-car prices).

You can use this as a guide for which size hose you need:

There is also no such thing as stock hose clamps. There are no clamps. They press fit on and the vacuum of the system holds them on just fine.

OH: I thought there were Two kinds 1. The kind that you can buy at any FLAPS. With the screw thing, 2. Some kind of German clamp that locks to geather instead of haveing that big screw head somewhere on each one. Dave (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smilie_flagge6.gif)

You have the sizes on the chart. What's wrong with a tape measure for determining the length?
