When some one says,"Did ya kmake it yourself?"; it usually means that it looks funny. This car looks home made thus it has no name. To help you on your quest for a name I will call it, the Fugly Mugly. Your quest is now over! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/beer.gif)

the rules of the game at the erman forum say, that it have to be a production car
no one off or prototype or something similar ... so, this one has to have a name (IMG:style_emoticons/default/slap.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wavey.gif) Gustl |

I'm just guessing but maybe a Triumph GT6 convertible? It looks British, aka fake Italian (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) , like it could be a Sunbeam, Triumph, MG, Austin Healy, etc... I find it difficult to believe it's a stock car but as you said it has to be. For some reason it also looks amphibious to me.

I'm probably way off base here, but I believe I read that you can search flickr.com and find pictures that are similar to other pictures. Sometimes it's way off and sometimes it's spot on. In the unlikely event someone else posted a similar pic (or even the exact pic, if the originial is not yours) maybe you'll luck out! If I find the article I read, I'll post it.

That is the Oscar-Meyer Wienermobile with the wiener removed for easier service access, probably to change the relish filter. Seriously. I just saw them do it at the county fair last year.

The "wide five" bolt spacing on your black and white pic gave it away as VW based...
