Ok, so I'm changing out my broken turn signal switch. I get the wiper/signal switch assembly out, and this small brass piece falls out. Arrghh - I can't figure out where it goes. Anyone BTDT?

I dropped one of those... 20 years ago.

It is the cancellation thingy, as gocubs said.

Perfect fit! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) Thanks guys.

Put it back together without it, everything works; cancels, highbeams, etc. Makes the car lighter too. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)
