It's sad but true... I took A LOT of photos of my car when I was restoring it (2000-2005) and never did much with them. So, I just put together a quick update for my web site:

Wow. I didn't realize how many 3.6 twin plug powered teeners are out there. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/drooley.gif)

I'm surprised you didn't do the 911 dash? (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif)

Steve,

I know what you've been through. I've been doing it myself.

I also have a few thousand pics of my eternal project. However I have archived mine on a 8gb flash drive.

Thanks for the great photos.

> Nice pix. Tell me about those seats please!!!

Just 914 seats with the head cut off. There are actually quite a few photos of the process, but now they are randomized... Hmmm... Maybe this wasn't such a good idea. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I do plan on organizing things a little better. Just give me another 3 years.

> I'm surprised you didn't do the 911 dash?

No way, I actually really like the 914 dash! To me, that would be like replacing the 914 side mirrors - also a great design. IMO.

> i was wondering what you were gonna do with that domain

Yeah, it's been my email address for a long time (steve at 914 com), and I've been meaning to put up SOMETHING for a while...

How about putting them in an album format?
JAlbum is free, doesn't require
any programming, flash, or other fancy tools, and you can make really
nice photo albums in literally less than 1 minutes work. Tons of styles and
options too.
Ok it may take quite a while after you say "do it" but it is automatic.
You can then publish it to your WEB server.
It is super easy and pretty brainless to do.

I took my favorite 914 photos that I've collected over the years and
made an album of "snapshots":

Bill's Favorite 914 Snap Shots.

Many folks may recognize some of these photos.

Steve,

I saw your car at a get together in San Diego a few years ago and it instantly became one of my favorites. Thanks for opening up the vault and sharing the details with us.

I like the 914 cockpit, too. . . here's mine.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you invest into this project?
