I met a guy who is selling a green w/black interior 1.7 with appearance group. It has about 50k and is all original and almost perfect save a couple of scratches. Everything works. Any idea on value?

The November 2007 edition of Excellence valued an "excellent" 1973 1.7 at $11,150.

Is it local? Let's go look at it.

Crofton area. I bought some parts off of the guy. Very nice car. He's had a lot of tire kickers but no real buyers. One of those deals where he needs th right buyer. He is looking for 10k but I wasn't sure if that was unrealistic.

However, when I think about how much I'm spending to make my '70 look reasonable, 10k starts looking cheap.
