I am replacing my speedo this weekend and just want a heads up on what to expect. Looking at the new gauge it is obvious that the speedo cable screws onto the attachment and the lights slide into their openings. What about the odometer reset cable though? Does the end just go into the hole and snap in place? Thanks for any help (a pic would be great).

Whoa! Got the existing gauge pulled out enought to work and all the connections IDed. My big problem is unscrewing the cable from the back of the speedo; it's on so tight I can't get it to budge and I'm starting to booger up the end with pliers. Were these sealed on in some way from factory? Any tip to loosening the connection? Right now I'm spraying a little PB and letting it sit.
