Check out this pic of a 993 exhaust. I was thinking that maybe you could turn the heat exchangers around and use them on a 914. Cut the collector and point it to the rear instead of inboard. Heater tubing would have to be moded but that would not be major issue.
Can these be made to fit on earlier 911 heads? What issues might there be/what am I missing? James |

The flanges are thicker than the early flanges that bolt to the head. You could change studs. The other issue is: the late have a extra lip for the gasket and the early doesnt.
