Hi All,
I am replacing the front U shaped window seal. The old one was glued across the top, but it looks like it was done to keep the hardened rubber in place when it was re-painted. Does a "new" one need to be glued? Ken |

If your talking about the large targa/windshield frame "U" shaped seal, no, don't use anything. As the top is put on and taken off, the seal moves along the painted surface and the tops gel-coated finish and needs to move and flex. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Yep - thats the seal.
Did not think it needed gluing. Looks like the PO did it because the rubber had gotten very hard and would not stay in place. Thanks, Ken |
