OK, I have finaly started the process of tear-down!

My plan is to remove and replace:

The Oil Return Tubes
The Trailing Arms
Powder coat everything
Maybe Muellers Bearings toooooooo!

Can I powder coat the Heat Exchangers or should I just paint them?

Woohoo, we will see! I will post more photos as I progress!

Jeff

Hey Jeff........

NO powdercoating* on the H/E's......ceramic coating is fine

*supposedly thier is a special high temp powdercoating, but you'll see better results with the ceramic coating, IMHO

Jeff, your transmission mounts are put together wrong. The big dished washer goes up on the mount, not under the transmission ear.

BTW, ceramic coating is the way to go - nice stuff!

I could not find a photo that matched the assembly on my car! Does anyone have a photo of the correct configuration?

Thanks you guys! I will swap things around before I put it back together. The PO must have done that when they put the side shift trany in!

Seanery, you do the Ceramic coating yourself? Thanks for the offer! I would think it could cost a few bucks to ship it to Indy? What could I expect to pay to have it done localy?

The drivers side arm is bent! The PO must have slid it into a curb or something. It has about 2" of camber spacers.

I used Jet-Hott Sterling for several things on the blue car. I love that stuff.
