Does anyone know where a person could get a spark arrestor or maybe called a one way check valve that would be in a gas line like hydrogen gas that would prevent any sparks from going backwards into the system?

Isn't something like that available for oxy / acetylene torches?

Yes. Go to your local welding supply store, they will have them in many different sizes.
