Another paint code that was most likely used on some 914s is L67Z "Police Green". Used on german police cars during the '70/'80/'90 ...


I was able to verify that that color wasn't available until '74, thus i was able to narrow the possible date range to '74 - '76 ...

With that info, i added the color to the main list of colors.

Now all we need is to get our hands on a german police 914 ...

Yes, that is the code I have. However, it may not be stamped on the Karmann badges. I agree that we have to find a car to find out.

I believe Arno's car is L80E.

maybe he bought the car back from Germany - but it is one of just two 914-6 that was officially used from the Dutch Gendarmerie (=Police)
and he's restoring it back to Dutch Gendarmerie specifications
