BEWARE if you get an email stating UPS/Fed Ex has a package for you and they were unable to deliver it. The word invoice is MISPELLED (inoice). The UPS version looks like this: upsinoice_p976i. As soon as you open the virus attacks. I was forunate enough to run Spybot to clean up my computer.

Also beware that it installs what looks like a legitimate antivirus scanner, which alerts you that you've caught something and invites you to install AV software that will clean it up. Don't fall for that!

Bad news is Spybot alone won't kill it all. Unfortunately this is one of the nasty ones that invites it's friends to the party. Running every AV tool you can get your hands on will probably find more infections the others didn't. Which will still leave you wondering if you got it all. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Here are a few free trustworthy online scanners that are nice to know about:

I got one today, I thought it was another "all we need is your name, SS number, address...Blah blah..." So I just deleted it right off. Glad I did, Thanks for the warning.
