Yes it is a 3.2

Salvage...it has 81K miles, I drove it on and off the trailer. When I took it off I took it for a spin on the highway, I'm still sporting lumber from that little spin. Very fun to drive> I'll keep the 914, but this may replace it as the daily driver during the summer! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I dont get it ... why would anyone sell a car of that caliber for 5K. You could tripple your money by just turning around and selling it. GREAT score though.

Wow! Nice. I paid 4 times that 2+ years ago for my '84. Of course, it has half that many miles and it is pretty much perfect like-new condition.

Enjoy. That one looks too nice to rip apart. Although if you did you would make a freakin' fortune selling parts and still keep the engine and front suspension. The racers love the non-sunroof bodies!

Looks to be a great driver.

I found a complete one owner 74 911 last summer sitting in a shop. Car onwer passed away and the family didn't want it. I got it for $300, yes $300. Car ran and everything. Now it was in rough shape and teh plan was to use parts on my 70 914, but I was offered $5k for the car as it was and well, I took the $5K (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

So how did you come across your deal???

Pic of the 74 911 I found.

Why salvage? Nice score.

We need a "sarcastic" smilie. I always view 911's as donor vehicles to upgrade our 914's.
Heck, even a 959 might be useful... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/idea.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Ahhhhhhhh... I read his response and thought it had a salvage title, hence the $5k price point.

I'm guessing it's from Michigan and has no floors, hence the $5k price (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
