I am selling my 1970 914-6, s/n 9140432229. It is very good running condition. The engine was completely rebuilt and the transmission reconditioned. If fact the transmission is the easiest shifting transmission I have ever seem.
The car was originally purchased in San Jose, CA and never left the area. I am the second owner. Below is a partial list of things about the car. Completely re-built stock 2.0 motor & carbs – about 20 hours on it Very smooth shifting refurbish transmission Completely re-built brake system New carpets New door panels New top dash vinyl No cracks in molded dash Lots of new rubber seals Re-covered front dash Re-covered sail panels & roll bar vinyl Footstool, Center "keep" box New OEM speakers & unbroken covers 5 new tires on 5.5 x 14 Fuchs wheels New clutch & throttle cables New heater hoses – top & bottom Jet Hot Coat Heat exchangers & proper 914-6 muffler Proper Tool Kit Paint in good condition Condition issues Paint not a stock color No sunvisors No radio installed – however, proper radio included No active Rust areas – battery box tray & battery side hell-hole have some metal missing Needs 4 holes repaired on back deck lid where PO had a "wing". Front trunk floor needs to be welded closed where PO had put a front oil cooler. $24000 as is, or $25500 after Scott Yeaman (Yeaman Auto Body) fixes the holes and front trunk.
