Hi. Has anyone here used a Triad muffler?
Also, I have a pair of 1.7L SSI heat exchangers. Does anyone know if Triad makes mufflers to fit 1.7L HE's Lastly, has anyone who has used one noticed any increase in power? If not, what kind of exhaust systems would you guys recomend (under $600) Thanks. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/confused24.gif) |

do a search here for triad.
there are a lot of us that use them. I can't say that I noticed a performance increase, but I like the sound. I doubt any muffler for a -4 is gonna give any power, but I'm sure there are some that can take some away. |

Ditto that last post ...
The Triad is a muffler only, and more a sound & appearance choice; an alternative to "The Usuals" (Bursch, Monza, Sebring, homemade, etc). You want a guaranteed performance upgrade? Get a Tangerine Racing 914 System; it's the best one out there. BTW - bring $$$. |

if you have 1.7, 1.8 he's , the ones that raise at the rear flange, a triad final will not fit.
