I have the engine out due to a oil pump prob.
During the build, I measured about .037 average for the deck height. .040 is optimal. Should I tear the top end off amd change it? Is that just being anal? |

You run a bit of a risk of crashing the piston in to the head, but if it were me I'd run it as is.
