I have the engine out due to a oil pump prob.
During the build, I measured about .037 average for the deck height. .040 is optimal. Should I tear the top end off amd change it? Is that just being anal? |

Run it.
I have an engine with a 105mm bore that runs a .023 deck and runs great! Rules are meant to be broken, we shred the rule book up every chance we get. I consider .035 my target. |
