I have the engine out due to a oil pump prob.

During the build, I measured about .037 average for the deck height. .040 is optimal.

Should I tear the top end off amd change it? Is that just being anal?

I built in 0.032". Figured at high revs the rod would stretch just enough that the carbon would be knocked off the piston. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
