Just curious about what non Porsche project you guys have going on. I know of a few of you but how about ALL of you posting here what you're doing ??

Me :

I've got the BMW cafe conversion underway at work, and at home in addition to the 944 I also have a 1953 Chevy pickup I just got. It's not going to be a real anal type of job, TRYING to make it a fairly quick but nice one. Stock type suspension lowered ALOT; it's a 3/4 ton so it sits pretty high, drop the mild 350 in my Suburban in it along with a th400 or 700R4. Black steelies with red lines tires, and a flat O.D. green Metallic paint. Strongly considering a "tribute" to my dad and grandad. Dad was a Navy sargeant in Nam and my grandad flew gliders in WWII. I figured with the paint I plan to put on it, it would be fitting to put their insignias somewhere on it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/aktion035.gif) This right now is a Friday night only thing until I get 2 other issues resolved. So far I have the front fenders mostly stripped and have begun the repair process.

You ??????

Of course there are a million things to do to the house. Primary right now would be to paint the shutters and the exterior trim, at least on the south side.

The garage door needs to be replaced really bad anyway. And while I'm in there it's going to get a new-fangled opener that takes a minimum of space so I can get more room for the lift without the car on top of it hitting the opened garage door or opener.

This isn't really a project per say. I bought this rust free (really!) 67 C20 cheap enough that I'll just keep it around. All it needs to drive is a pair of rear wheel cylinders. The T400 spews fluid until it run 2 quarts low rendering it useless. Still haven't figured that one out since I've re-sealed the entire trans. Anywho... some day it will get a half ton rear axle and the front will be converted to disks and 5 lug also. Lowered of course and some classic mags with fat rubber. And some nice paint.

93 ZJ needs a 3" lift, a set of later wheels and 31 or 32" rubber. A rear locker for sure, maybe an ARB in the front. Later possibly a re-gear or either rebuild a stroker or perhaps even a blower.
