I believe this to be a machined aluminum taco plate. Look to be somewhat stiffer and less prone to leaks.

Anyone making these in the US?

You could make the part much cheaper than strictly machining it by making only the plate, and then tapping a Al rod to weld to that plate. It wouldn't be as pretty, but it would be much cheaper. I think I'm going to try it. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
