lol Not here to argue it. I seen it first hand. Those who claim BS just dont know. quoted from wiki: <The energy required to generate the oxyhydrogen always exceeds the energy released by combusting it; see Electrolysis of water:Efficiency.> and on the subject of acetone... I worked at the test fuel lab for Chevron in Richmond, CA. as a test fuel additive rater. Of course I played around with my own cocktails for the fuel tank. Acteone, as stated, reduces surface tension making for a more gaseous/vaporized charge. The problem is that when a fuel charge is more vaporized and less atomized the charge is more explosive and less "a controlled burn". A higher octane is a longer controlled burn. Lower octane is a quicker burn. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/chair.gif) Most things that seems too good to be true... usually are. Now if you add a high end solvent that prolongs the burning of the fuel, such as Tolulene or Zylene, you will realize an instant boost in octane rating. But that only works on a curve being the more you add, the less it increases octane. Also tough on rubber parts. But worth it IMHO for weekend racing. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif) |
