I am enbarking on an engine rebuild - doing a RAT 2270.
I've been taking detailed pictures and posting them here. So far I've take it all apart. Now I'm doing lots of cleaning and ordering parts (and waiting for them to show up). Enjoy! teaser: Attached image(s) |

Very nice! I'm glad to see all the things i'm learning just looking at your guide. For instance I learned:
do not buy brazillian rod bearings! OMG! is that maybe why all your connecting rods had differing lengths and were not clearing the cam lobes? Maybe you dont need to have them machined if that's the case? purple |
