No offense taken Jeff, but I did this because my new insurance company wanted a Valuation for my stated value and would accept this.
What do your ebay number look like?? Yes, I know the LE seem to be selling at a premium but what about the other nice cars. To me 75% of the EBAY cars are barely in "Good condition" most are in "Fair" to "Parts" cars. In other words, rusty.

Is my car a shining low mile prefect condition example? Only in my eyes I am afraid but it is a nice car, mostly orginal and would be hard to replace. That last part is the key to valuation for the Insurance company, right? "How much is it going to cost to replace the car with a car in similar condition?
I think the prices for the nice cars say in the top 20% of 914s is going up steadily every year. Why? supply and demand, simple.
