I kept smelling gasoline in the cabin so I did some checking and found the filter was moist and has a gas odor. It is under the tank and I can get to it from the front pump access cover. The lines and filter were replaced 2 years ago and the lines look good. My question is, is this very common? It is a genuine Porsche replacement filter.

I had a friend William Harris who blew out a brand new one..
Apparently the latest batch is junk and they do leak. I was also told go with a BMW filter, same fittings on each end... Rich |
