This is my problem- sometimes I get ahead of myself when thinking about projects I have. And I just thought of another one (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I was just admiring the engine porn that mudfoot76 provided us with, and it got me to thinking about the spare engine I inherited when I bought my teener. I've had a couple of guys looking at it, but haven't heard if they want it or not. But if they don't, here's what I'm thinking...

Go ahead and rebuild the engine (because it needs it badly), but instead of trying to sell it rebuilt, turn around and use it for a dune buggy... or a really high powered go kart! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/driving.gif)

Hehehe... of course this would take a lot of persuasion on my part to convince my wife why I'd need such a toy, but I think that would work out pretty well. It beats the shit out of an 8 horse Briggs & Stratton, that's for sure! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/happy11.gif)

So... thoughts? Encouragment discouraged as this can probably only get me in trouble. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Well, if you want a gocart I agree with the above. The only difference being that I would run a slightly older engine (like a Honda F2), as the powerbands are better suited towards a 4 wheeled vehicle without using huge differential gears. The older engines have less hp outputs, but the torque is approximately the same. They only have more hp because they rev higher. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Of course, if you want a dune buggy a spare might not be a bad idea . . .
