I didn't whip out the bling on Bob. He had enought on his fingers.
Allison Krauss sat next to him. They presented an award to T-Bone Burnett (who sat next to her) and received one themselves from Phil Ramone for Raising Sand. He went on to add lib about playing at the Filmore in 68; "There were no fucking monitors. None of you in this room are worthy with all you have today!" Everyone burst out... hilarious moment. Seemed like a nice guy. Funny thing is, I was walking down Powell to meet some friends Thursday. He was having a coffee (or maybe tea) at a sidewalk cafe. I thought; man that looks like Robert Plant. Wouldn't it be funny if it was him and nobody recognized him? Naaaaaaaaa... just looks like him. Well... guess it was him. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/lol3.gif) |
