Trying to gage need for these part #91453118510. These go on the roof and block water from comming in over the window. The part number is only for one side, but it would be both left and right.
I can do these without the plugs at about 22 a set, or plug at $17 each. If I have enough people that need these I'll make them. Thanks, Mark |

Regarding the installation, I just did this on Sunday. After seeing this post, I decided to check my recently acquired parts car (the one that had a new windshield/targa seal) and lo and behold, the side targa seals are new as well. These had the factory part number (185 10 and 186 10) stamped into them so I believe they are not repros.
Anyways, I tried to side them into the track with silicone but no go. I got them in by seating the outside lip first and then using a flat screw driver, I popped the inside lip in from front to back. |

Just but be sure not to monkey up the tracks and this method will work well also. I did shave off .005 from the stock, I figured that it might help, but will be indistinguishable from the OEM clearance. Just another minor modification I've made. I try to get as close to OEM as possible, making improvements where they make sense. |
