The link I have provided gives the color codes for various 914 years. On my COA it states the color for my '72 /6 is a Gemini Metalic Blue code /86
When checking on the link I find the code is given as L96E for that color. What is going on here? http://p914.com/p914_paint-6-1972.htm |

This is confusing since the Euro '72/ 6 I own has the VW in the 914-6 Script. Am I correct in assuming that both color codes 8610 and L96E will be identical Gemini metallic paint? Thanks Karl

That explains that, but since its a 6, the COA will show the porsche code. (If im wrong, be sure to correct me). I think the colors are still the same though. |
