I've seen ads on ebay and here for the new oversize speaker boxes that will take 6.5 round speakers. Has anyone used them? I'm afraid I had holes cut in my otherwise very nice tan door panels, but would try to find some new panels if the speaker boxes are any good. Please let me know at jtb3@chorus.net. Thanks

I haven't got the speaker panels yet, BUT I did buy the sub-woofer box from them, and there's room for 2 guages above and to each side of the speaker, but it would be tough to get 3 guages in there.
And I muct say he gaveme an EARFUL of audio tuning advice for his setup, very helpful.
Also, I bought a decent 200watt Panasonic CD player and with the subwoofer and little 3x5" speakers in the stock panels it sounds AMAZING! I can easily live with it sounding like this until I get a few extra $$ to buy the panels. If I did it again I'd buy the WHOLE setup w/speakers, in the end you'll be way ahead.

---I'll post pictures of my subwoofer w/guages later if this thread is still going.
