Some time earlier this year I saw a post w/pictures(not sure where),of a power
window conversion an owner had done using a slightly modified 911(?) P.W. mechanism. What was so cool (in My opinion) is it alleviated the 914's splined crank shaft (aftermarket kits I've found don't). This allows the door lock/lever assemblies (I still fumble for mine, and usually end up leaning across my passenger to let them out), to be relocated to the more convenient and accessible location where the window cranks used to be.

If anyone is familiar with the post, the car, or the owner, please let me know as
I'm in the final stages of yet another restoration and upgrade to the car and would
like to find out if it's doable at this time, before I reupholster the custom door panels.

Thanks, Scott

Nice kits, does anyone know if the flat window kit will work with our cars? The only thing I have seen for a while is the motor of my car so can't remember if our windows are considered 'flat' or not.
