You might have some trouble with the police if it reflects. White lights to the rear are illegal unless they are backup lights and your actually in reverse. I got pulled over twice in a pantera when the backup lights were stuck on. That was twice in a ten mile drive. I pulled the wires off the trans after the second time. I told the 2nd cop that they were now fixed and asked if he could sign off the first ticket. He declined. I guess they actually have to work when you put it in reverse.
