Need guidance and know I will get many diverse opinions but ....
Have car with 3 ltr and GT flares running TOYO 888s. (moving from non- flared car) Have 225- 50 -15 for front & 225 -45-15 for rear. I have option of going all 8 s or 8 & 9s Fuchs. 22mm front t bars 200 lb rear springs Konis Any experience or ideas . Need to ready for this weekend. Your input would be appreciated. THX TOT |

I know I missed something in the original post.. is the question to run 8's all around vs 8/9? and the other question the 225-50 vs the 225-45?
From an ease of use (and rotating tires) I would run the same size rim/tire on each corner. Also, while the difference is slight, would running the 225-45-15 acheive and gearing advantage/disadvantage for where you are running? Like the previous poster, I like the staggered 225/245 combo on 8/9s. Finding a wide low profile R comp tire to work on a 9x15 can be hard. Same with a 16". |
